Sheskey Architects' plan enabled 100% business operations to be maintained during the new construction and total interior renovations by careful phasing of design and construction. A new two level underground parking garage, provided within the compact, urban site created additional real estate value to the facility as well as providing a critical staff amenity.
Future expansion built into the design has been successfully implemented in two planned expansions. A new long-range growth and feasibility study has been recently developed to handle the next stages of growth, building upon the first wave of growth.
Preservation of existing architectural detail involved research into old building systems and materials resulting in rejuvenation of the old structure and use of old detail in new ways to create the new spaces.
